There are huge numbers of illegal boats and quad bikes in Moçambique. This situation arose because exiting vehicles are not checked to be exporting what they imported.  On occasion when transporting a boat or quad by road you will be asked to produce the TIP on which the unit was imported.  If you are stopped at a roadblock and your TIP is more than 30 days old you will need to be creative and convincing with your explanation.
